Suzanne Dirmaier from Waterbury Center, Vermont, called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to suggest this weekend's, Hooked in The Mountains, a rug-hooking exhibit at The Round Barn at Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont.

The exhibit and classes run through November 18th.

John Nassivera recommended the staged epic play, Angels in America, at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont.

The play features Green Mountain College student-actors as well as local equity actor, Peter Langstaff in the lead role, made famous in the HBO version by Al Pacino.

Showtimes are through Saturday at Ackley Theater at Green Mountain College at 7 p.m.

Sam Shy suggested taking a trip to Weathersfield, Vermont, to visit the newly reopened studio of artist Lisa Curry Mair.

VPR recently used one of Mair's designs on the VPR Artist Mug.

Mair's studio and house doors will be open to visitors for a tour of the workspace and to take a class on how to cut stencils and stamps.

The grand reopening begins Friday, November 16th.
