The Vermont Public Legacy Society
The Vermont Public Legacy Society recognizes those individuals with the vision and foresight to consider Vermont Public in their will or other gift planning.

Planned gifts (such as a bequest in your will, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, naming Vermont Public as a beneficiary of your retirement account assets, etc.) allow donors to make meaningful gifts that complement their financial and philanthropic goals. In turn, such gifts insure the long-term financial strength of Vermont Public and will enable us to continue to provide programming that informs, educates and enriches future generations.
Create My Free Will
To help you get started on your plans and legacy, you can use FreeWill, an online tool that guides you through the process of creating your will or trust. It’s easy to use, accessible online, and can be completed in 20 minutes. You can use this resource on its own, or to document your wishes before finalizing your plans with an attorney.
Have you already included a gift in your will or trust? Please fill out this form to let us know! We would love to thank you for your generosity.
Designate Beneficiaries
Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Use this online tool to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.

Over 200 community members have made this thoughtful commitment to the long term sustainability of Vermont Public. Please consider joining them.
You can join the Vermont Public Legacy Society by simply notifying us that you have made a provision for Vermont Public in the form of a bequest in your will or other planned gift.
