Washington County senator Anthony Pollina is proposing a significant change in the way that low and middle income families pay for tuition at the Vermont State College system.; Vermont’s moose hunting season opens this weekend and for the first time fish and wildlife officials will count ticks on animals brought into weigh stations., and an advisory group is poised to make recommendations on a new measure of economic well-being.
