Twice a year, members of the Vermont Crafts Council open their studios for visitors to come observe arts and crafts in the making. This weekend is the annual Fall Open Studio Weekend.Downloadable maps and guides are available online. The guide offers descriptions of participating studios, broken down by media and by county. With craftspeople ranging from fine artists to furniture makers, there are plenty of studios to choose from. Some studios are in areas where foliage season is well underway, so along the way you may also see some of nature's most colorful work on display.
