Keurig Green Mountain had explosive growth for many years as it took over the single-serve coffee market with its K-cup coffee pods and Keurig brewing machines. But the company has faltered recently.
Last week, Keurig Green Mountain announced it would lay off 330 workers after a disappointing third quarter report. Two hundred of those layoffs are here in Vermont, where the publicly traded corporation was founded 34 years ago as Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.
Vermont Edition spoke to Seth Golden, an industry analyst with Capital Ladders, about Keurig Green Mountain's financial developments and their plans for the future.
