Waterbury-based Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. says robust sales and earnings growth led to a strong quarter.
The company reported net sales of $1.1 billion in its fiscal second quarter, which ended in March. The figure represents a 9.7 percent increase from the same quarter last year.
Keurig Green Mountain also announced an agreement with J.M. Smucker Company which markets a line of coffee brands including Folgers, Café Bustelo and Millstone.
The agreement will expand the existing relationship between the companies and include the production of Smucker’s coffee products for new consumer and commercial serving systems that Keurig Green Mountain plans to introduce.
