Regional Report: Brattleboro Fills Town Meeting Seats

The interesting part of Vermont’s town meetings is that every municipality does it differently. And in the case of Brattleboro, the town holds a representative town meeting.

But there were concerns in Brattleboro this year, after there were a lot of empty slots for town meeting representatives this year. Those positions were filled at a caucus earlier this week.

Howard Weiss-Tisman has been following that story for the Brattleboro Reformer and spoke with VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb for our Friday Regional Report.

Mitch Wertlieb

Mitch has been a guest host of the national NPR sports program "Only A Game". He's also worked as an editor and producer for international news coverage with Monitor Radio in Boston.
