Folk singing legend Pete Seeger died this week at the age of 94. That sent us digging through our archives in search of tape. Back in 1978 National Public Radio teamed up with VPR to make a documentary about maple sugar making.

The documentary, “Maple Sugar Time,” features the singing of Pete Seeger. Sugarmaker John Hunt of Hartland Four Corners is also heard in this clip from the documentary along with NPR host Noah Adams.
