Two members of the Vermont Public Television Board of Directors have resigned.
At least one of the resignations was tendered following a special board meeting this week to discuss a complaint filed with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
The anonymous complaint alleges that the board violated the corporation’s open meeting rules.
According to VPT spokeswoman Elizabeth Metraux , board member Scott Milne resigned following the Wednesday meeting.
The resignation of a second board member, Jim Wyant, was also made public this week.
VPT declined to comment on whether Wyant’s resignation also came after this week’s meeting. Wyant will continue to serve on a separate VPT Canadian board of directors.
The station would not comment on whether either resignation is connected to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting investigation.
