Vermont librarians and a Google executive will connect via video conference to unveil a new system allowing people to do the same.
The event set for 11 a.m. Tuesday will link Vermont State Librarian Martha Reid and her professional colleagues in Rutland and Brattleboro, as well as Google's Matt Dunne in Woodstock.
Dunne works on community outreach for Google, and is a former Vermont legislator who also ran for governor in 2010.
He and Reid will be joined by Randal Smathers of the Rutland library and Jerry Carbone of the Brooks Memorial Library in Brattleboro.
