Authorities believe a fire at a vacant home in Isle LaMotte was intentionally set.
The fire on Main Street was reported Sunday by a passing motorist.
The Alburgh and Champlain, N.Y., fire departments were called to assist.
The fire departments were able to suppress the fire but the building is a total loss.
No one was hurt.
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call the state arson tip line or police.
