New England States Receive Grants To Help Unemployed Workers Find Jobs

The six New England states are receiving a total of nearly $9 million dollars in grants to help unemployed workers find new jobs.

The U.S. Department of Labor grants are designed to help states offer personalized, one-on-one job counseling to people receiving unemployment benefits.

Vermont will receive $951-thousand dollars. New Hampshire gets $928-thousand, and Massachusetts will receive $4-point-3 million dollars.
