In New Hampshire, Negotiators from the House and Senate are meeting to see if they can reach a compromise over legislation to change New Hampshire's voter identification law.
The Democratically controlled House passed a bill to ease voter ID requirements enacted by Republicans last session. The Republican-led Senate proposes leaving in place a shortened list of identifications accepted during the last election.
The Senate would postpone until 2015 a requirement for people who sign an affidavit instead of presenting an acceptable ID to have their picture taken at the polls.
Negotiators meet today to discuss the differences. They have until Thursday afternoon to reach a compromise.
