When the legislature resumes next year, the Senate will have to consider a GMO labeling law passed by the house this year. Lawmakers in Connecticut are grappling with similar issues this week they work towards passing their own GMO labeling bill. The Connecticut Senate and House have both passed their own versions of a bill, and must agree to a final version before the session ends this Wednesday.
