The Student Composer Showcase for December is Izzy Serebrov.
Izzy is in 11th grade at Essex High School. In addition to his classical compositions, Izzy is a singer-songwriter.
Performers for 'Under Ice' were Chris Rivers, trumpet; Tim Woos, piano; Evan Peltier, suspended cymbal. The piece was premiered at Music-COMP's Opus 31 concert on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Elley-Long Music Center at St. Michael's College, Colchester, VT.
