June's Student Composer Showcase is Nathan Watts, a senior at Essex High School. Nathan wrote about his piece, Time Immemorial, "It’s based on a piano piece I wrote when I was trying to explain my complex frustration about an event that had occurred recently to someone and, unable to fully express it with words, I sat down at the piano in the room and started improvising, showing them how I felt through music."
Hear Nathan discuss his work 6/2 at 11:30, 6/4 at 8:30, 6/6 at 4, 6/7 at 9.
