Students graduating from the University of Vermont Medical School on Sunday won't just have their new degrees. They'll walk to the first-ever performance of Vermont Passacaglia by graduating Med student, Adam Ackerman. Ackerman's piece will replace the traditional Pomp And Circumstance March.
Before turning to medicine, Ackerman studied music at Berklee and the New England Conservatory of Music. He spoke with Kari Anderson about his piece, and the uncanny connection that some doctors seem to have to music.
