Sir Colin Davis

One of the world's most prominent conductors, Sir Colin Davis, died yesterday at the age of 85.   We'll hear four recordings with four different orchestras, one in each hour, beginning at 3 pm this afternoon.

Also making headlines over the weekend was Turkish pianist Fazil Say.  He was handed a ten month suspended prison sentence for making denigrating comments via Twitter about Islam.  We'll hear one of his recordings today as well, and you can read more about his situation here.
