This week's calendar announcements:

The Chester Summer Music Series presents Frydaddy on Thursday August 5th.
Concerts are held on the Academy Lawn directly across from the Green in downtown Chester. Concerts are from 6:30-8:00 P.M. Open and free to the public. Rain venue is the American Legion Post #67, Rt. 103 South.

Pete Sutherland & Oliver Scanlon will be playing a free concert in Burlington's City Hall Park at noon on Wednesday, August 4th.

Burlington songwriter Eric George will perform in Burlington's City Hall Park at noon on Friday, August 6th.

Terrible Mountain Stringband will play at the Middlesex Bandstand
Wednesday, August 4th @ 6:30p.m.

Ida Mae Specker & the Terrible Mountain Stringband will be featured at the Vermont Roots Roadshow at Magic Mountain on Saturday August 7th a 4 p.m. at 495 Magic Mountain Access Road, Londonderry. For more info please visit: https://www.vermontrootsroadshow.com/. This is a special tour with Saints & Liars, The Maple Run Band, The Western Terrestrials, and Sarah King.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, VPR's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that "aims to reward the pinnacle of arts leadership in a state blessed with creative energy disproportionate to its population." He is also the recipient of the 2022 Magaret Kannestine Arts Advocacy Award from the Vermont Arts Council, and is a 2023 inductee to the International Folk Alliance's FolkDJ Hall of Fame.
