Celebrating the late great Joseph Shabalala, upcoming Mardi Gras days, and Sir Van Morrison’s knighthood!

This week's calendar announcements:

Low Lily  will be performing at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs on Thursday, February 20th at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, February 19 will be the official kick-off for Mardi Gras at Spruce Peak.  Join us for Mardi Gras inspired family fun and activities, including special themed food offerings and cocktails, kids DIY creations, complimentary photos, and end your day at an amazing concert with two Louisiana musical legends, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Nathan & The Zydeco Cha Chas beginning at 7 p.m.

Chelsea Berry will be  performing at Brandon Music on Saturday February 22nd

Song Circle Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Godnick Adult Center in Rutland at 7:15 p.m.

The Peacham Winter Carnival will be happening on Friday and Saturday 2/21 and 2/22 in the center of Peacham.  Featured musicians include  The Kowal Family, Bruce Westcott, and Carol Hausner with Jonathan “Doc” Kaplan.

Cabin Fever Series presents Yann Falquet and Keith Murphy in concert Saturday February 22nd at 8pm at the Walkover Gallery 15 Main St in Bristol.

Americana sister duo, Ari & Mia with Australian singer/songwriter Lucy Wise will play at Rebop Farm in Brattleboro on Wednesday February 19th.
 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
