Act 250 is the state's comprehensive land-use program and it's nearing it's 50th birthday. A commission is now looking at how to make it relevant for the next half century. Vermont Edition hears thoughts on the past, present and future of Act 250.
Middelbury State Rep. Amy Sheldon is the chair of the Commission on Act 250. She discusses what the commission has been charged with and what it has been hearing. We'll also talk with Brian Shupe of the Vermont Natural Resources Council and Warren Coleman of MMR Legal Services about the impact of Act 250 and how they'd like to see it changed.
