Finding affordable, high quality child care in Vermont is a big challenge – and it can leave Vermont parents feeling like they're out of options. Now, a commission formed to tackle the problem is out with new recommendations.
The Blue Ribbon Commission on Financing High Quality, Affordable Child Care is out with a new report.
Here to talk about it are Reeva Murphy, deputy commissioner of Vermont's Department for Children and Families, and Charlotte Ancel, vice president of Power Supply and general counsel at Green Mountain Power and chair of the Blue Ribbon Commission.
We'll also hear from Hope Campbell, Director of Child Care Programs at the Vermont Community Loan Fund.
