Angela Evancie

Legislative leaders from Vermont's major parties discuss their legislative priorities heading into the Nov. 8 election.

The 2016 Presidential Race has dominated the headlines for much of this election cycle. But as we near Election Day, voters begin to focus on statewide offices and their local State House and Senate races.

Leaders from the state's three major parties discuss their legislative priorities and how they hope to make substantial gains at the State House. Our guests are Republican House Minority leader Don Turner, Democratic House Majority leader Sarah Copeland-Hanzas, and Progressive State Representative Susan Hatch Davis.

Broadcast live on Friday, October 28, 2016 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.

Ric was a producer for Vermont Edition and host of the VPR Cafe.
Bob Kinzel has been covering the Vermont Statehouse since 1981 — longer than any continuously serving member of the Legislature. With his wealth of institutional knowledge, he answers your questions on our series, "Ask Bob."
