This week's calendar announcement:

Every year during the second weekend of May, Young Tradition Weekend showcases young performers of traditional music and dance.  The weekend celebrates the talents of young musicians and dancers as well as the traditions that they perpetuate.  Mentors, teachers, family and friends become the audience and young folks take center stage.
Some of the events include a contra dance with Queen City Contras on Friday May 13th and a Young Tradition Showcase and concert as well as an evening concert with Cricket Blue, Eric George, and Addie Herbert on Saturday May 14th.  For a full schedule, check http://youngtraditionvermont.org/2012/06/young-tradition-weekend-2/

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
