The Vermont bluegrass band Possumhaw

Welcoming the first of May with prom songs, Morris dancers, and a sampling of the amazing music that was released on Elektra Records during the folk boom of the mid- to - late 1960s.

This week's calendar announcements:

Possumhaw will be performing at the Palmer Street Coffeehouse located in the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Plattsburgh, NY on Friday May 6th at 7:30 p.m.  Doors open at 7

Jay Ungar and Milly Mason will give a concert on Saturday, May 7th in West Brattleboro at the First Congregational Church, 880 Western Ave., at 7:30 p.m.  
Jay and Molly will also be playing at the Chandler Music Hall in Randolph on Sunday May 8th at 4 p.m.

The Quebe Sisters Band is scheduled to appear May 3 at Nectar’s in Burlington at 7:30 p.m. 

Chris Isaak will be performing at the Lebanon, NH opera house on Saturday May 7th 

Katie Trautz and Alec Ellsworth will be playing Cajun Fiddle tunes and songs on Friday, May 6th at the Radio Bean LampShop in Burlington from 7:30 -9 p.m.  

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
