Fourteen years ago, the Canadian dollar was worth 62 cents on the U.S. dollar. Through the years, the loonie slowly rebounded and reached even par with its American counterpart.
But it has taken a nose dive lately and is now down to around 70 cents. So what does a low loonie mean to the economies of Canada and border states like Vermont?
