Vermont diva Nancy Beaven

Aaron Neville sings the Mickey Mouse Club theme song, we hear songs about the "Jake Leg" blues, and looking forward to a rare local performance by fabled Vermont singer Nancy Beaven, appearing this week in a duo show with Tim McKenzie, another local legend.

This show will air on Sunday January 10th from 7 - 10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

Jeremiah McLane and Tim Cummings will be playing at the Feast and Field Market and Dinner series at the Barnard Town Hall on Thursday January 14th from 5-7:30 p.m.

They Might be Gypsies will be performing at the Wild Fern in Stockbridge Friday January 15th at 7 p.m.

Richie Stearns and Rosie Newton will be playing at the Richmond Congregational Church on Sunday January 17th at 4 p.m. as part of the P.M. Sundays music series.

Emily Nyman will be at the Music Box in Craftsbury on Saturday January 16th at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday January 15th Burlington musician Tim McKenzie will be playing at the Juniper Lounge at the Hotel Vermont in Burlington with very special guest Nancy Beaven.  Music begins at 9 p.m.

Jeremy Harple will be performing at the Village Tavern  in Jeffersonville on Thursday January 14th from 7 – 10 p.m.
 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
