Art Hounds: Prints, Paintings & An Artist On The Rise

Artist Dave Celone suggested Matt Brown's original watercolors and wood block prints done in the Japanese hanga style at Long River Gallery and Gifts in Lyme, New Hampshire through Jan. 12.

Ellen Seeger of East Montpelier recommended Carolyn Shapiro's painting series called, Ancestor Series, up at Long Branch Cafe in East Montpelier through Jan. 31.

Musician and producer Peg Tassey of Burlington suggested Gregory Douglass in concert at First Night Burlington at 3 p.m. at the Flynn Mainstage.
