The Fairfield Four

Welcoming in December (and also the first night of Chanukah) with the Fairfield Four, the amazingly talented Patton family from Bakersfield, VT, and all kinds of other musical treasures too.

This program will air on Sunday December 6th from 7 - 10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

Mike Block and Hanneke Cassel will perform at the Richmond Congregational Church on Sunday December 13th at 4 p.m. as part of Don Sheldon’s P.M. Sundays series.

Brett Hughes will perform original and honky-tonk music at the Burnham Music Series in Lincoln on Saturday, December 12that 7:30 p.m.

Ben Winship and Eli West will be performing at the E. Montpelier Meeting House with Doug Perkins opening on Friday December 11th.

Nectar’s 40th anniversary celebration continues this month in Burlington with An Evening of Smokin' Grass on Thursday December 10th .

VT bluegrass band PossumHaw will perform at the Café Lena in Saratoga Springs on 
Friday, December 11th at 8 p.m.

Liam Robinson and Jean Rohe will be playing at Café Lena on Saturday, December 12th 

Young Tradition Vermont, the Burlington Violin Shop and the Northeast Heritage Music Camp presents Dirk Powell and Riley Baugus, two of the world’s most respected Old Time musicians in the world to the Burlington Violin Shop at 23 Church Street for an intimate, acoustic concert on Tuesday December 8th at 6pm.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for general admission seating.

David Mallet will be performing at the Greensboro United Church on Saturday December 12th at 7 p.m.
 

 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
