Art Hounds: Curtains, Pets & Drumming

Musician Patty Jacob of Jeffersonville suggested the Lamoille County Players staging of Curtains at the Hyde Park Opera House on Saturday, September 26th.

Artist Colleen Clark from Burlington recommended Paint Your Pet at Burlington Paint & Sip on Cherry Street in Burlington, Wednesday, September 30th from 7 till 10 p.m.

Anne Dolivo from Manchester Center is a professional singer and recommended the You Are Not Alone Foundation concert with Steve Miller Band keyboard player Joseph Wooten to benefit homeless Vermonters at the Dorset Playhouse on Saturday, September 25th.

John Blatchford is a woods product manufacturer from Dorset and he suggested the Vermont Fine Furniture and Fine Woodworking Festival on Saturday, September 26th at Billings Farm in Woodstock.

Graphic designer Christine Hauck from Hartland suggested her town's 100th birthday celebration, Damon Hall Centennial  on Saturday and Sunday, September 26th and 27th with music, historical games, an ice cream social and more.

Jess Wimett of Keeseville, New York, works at the Lakeside School in Essex, New York and recommended a celebration of rhythm in the community with a night of guided African drumming and dance on Saturday, September 26th beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Black Kettle Farm on the lake in Essex.
