This week, we talk about the etiquette of being taken out to a meal, answering this question:
"Recently I treated a coworker out to lunch who is always crying she is broke. I took her to a Thai restaurant. We ordered appetizers, entrees and dessert. Not only did she order the most expensive item on the menu, but she also set aside half of each food course on her appetizer plate."
"When I finally asked her what she was doing, she told me she was setting aside half of her meal so she could bring a treat home to her mother, since they rarely get to out to eat. Is it me, or is that a bit tacky of her to take advantage of my treat?"
