Art Hounds: Auditions, Visual Arts & Ladies Night Out

Monica Callan, a theater and visual artist from Waterbury suggested Mary Admasian’s exhibit, Boundaries, Balance and Confinementat the Vermont Supreme Court gallery through July.

Actress Gianna Kiehl of Shelburne suggested the open call for the Original Content at Off Centerfor the dramatic arts season, produced by 13 local theater companies and playwrights. Open auditions for seven of the season's shows will be held at the Off Center for the Dramatic Arts in Burlington between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on May 9th and 10th.

Lois Johnstone of Wallingford suggested the final concert of the spring tour fromLadies Night Out Women's Chorus on Saturday, May 9th at the Castleton Federated Church at 7:30 p.m., featuring music from a feminine perspective.

Writer and actor Jim Shley from South Strafford suggested the Thetford Chamber Singersconcert, Holding On Through Hard Times, on Friday, May 8th at 7:30 p.m. at the North Universalists Chapel in Woodstock and Sunday, May 10th at 4:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Thetford Hill.
