Vermont-NEA, the state teachers' union, is among the more powerful unions in the state, and it has a lot to say about education issues like school consolidation, and whether teachers should be allowed to go on strike. Now, the 12,000-member union has jumped into the debate over vaccinating school kids, saying the state should remove the philosophical exemption.
