Senate President John Campbell

Senate President Pro Temp John Campbell made some waves last week when he said lawmakers might have a hard time supporting $2 billion in financing for a single-payer health care system.  His comments cast doubt on the viability of a single-payer health care system in the state.  Campbell is Bob Kinzel's guest to look at that question and discuss some major topics before the state Senate.

Also in the program, Senator Bernie Sanders’ reaction to this week’s Supreme Court ruling that removes limits on how much money an individual can contribute to an election campaign. Sanders is calling for a constitutional amendment to overturn this and similar court rulings.

And, we listen back to some of the voices in this week’s news.

Broadcast live on Friday, April 4, 2014 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
