Art Hounds: Music Series

Musical director for Spielpalast Cabaret, Gabriel Shapiro, suggested looking forward to a performance at this summer'sDiscover Jazz Festival by the group Dawn of Midi on Sunday, June 1st.

Musician Peg Tassey of Calais recommended the Haybarn Theatre Fundraiser, featuring Anais Mitchell, with an opening set by Kris Gruen. The concert is Saturday, April 5th at 7:30 at the Haybarn on the Goddard College campus in Plainfield.

Gordon Bock of Northfield suggested the Green Mountain Youth Symphony's concert on Saturday, April 5th at the Barre Opera House, featuring the works of three female composers.

Nelson Jacquay of Tinmouth recommended the Old Tinmouth Firehouse Concert Series, which kicks off this Saturday, April 5th at 7:30 with music by singer-songwriter Cosy Sheridan.

Erika Schramm of Shelburne suggested Shelburne Vineyards First Thursdays in The Loft music series, featuring a different local musician, local beers and wines and proceeds benefiting a different charitable cause each week.

Artist and art teacher Caitlin Eastmann recommended the Mud Season exhibit at Artistree in Woodstock.
