Art Hounds: Sing Along

Thursdays at 4:55 p.m. and Fridays at 7:55 a.m.

Theater buff Joyce Hendley of South Burlington recommends this weekend's performances by the young actors who make up Spotted Pup Productions.

The troupe is set to perform Joss Whedon's, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog at Spotlight Vermont's theater space on San Remo Drive in South Burlington. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9 p.m. and Sunday at 6 p.m.

Show tickets are free but donations are accepted with proceeds to benefit Equality Now, a non-profit organization that promotes human rights.

Michelle Paton of Pittsford has found a great venue and source of live music in Middlebury at51 Main at the Bridge Restaurant. Every third Wednesday, the locale hosts a blues jam where everyone gets a chance to play.
