Art Hounds: Murals, Music and Tango

Sally Mack of Charlotte recommends the ongoing "P.M. Sundays" by Valley Stage Productions called, "Poets and Players," at the Richmond Free Library.

Honor Hingston of Springfield suggests a visit to her hometown to see artist Jamie Townshend's murals on the walls on Elm Hill, the library and other venues.

Arts enthusiast Bob Shea of South Burlington suggests Queen City Tango holiday milonga -- or social dance -- this Saturday at Shelburne Town Hall, complete with tango lessons, live music, a deejay and refreshments. They will also collect items for the Shelburne Food Shelf.

Former Townshend Church pastor Vern Stanley suggests the West River Valley Chorus as they perform two concerts of secular, sacred and Christmas music this weekend. The concerts are Friday at the Wardsboro Center Church at 7 p.m. and Sunday at the Townshend Church at 3 p.m.
