An Irene Odyssey: The Graham-Frocks' Story

AP/Toby Talbot

Fri Aug 30, Noon & 7PM  On Sunday, August 28, 2011, Tropical Storm Irene swept through Vermont and left destruction in its wake. One family who felt its wrath were the Graham-Frocks of Rochester.

On that afternoon, their home was destroyed. For the next two years, they went about putting their lives back together while working with FEMA, insurance companies and their bank. During this time, they agreed to a series of interviews with VPR’s Mitch Wertlieb.

Jon Graham and Beth Frock sit down with him to recount the triumphs and travails they experienced along this journey.
