An appreciation of some the wide-ranging and musically incredible contributions that Ry Cooder has made, some fantastic musicians that we will be hearing live on the VPR tour to Cape Breton in October, and even some music that can be traced back to Robbie Burns on the occasion of the 254-and-a-half anniversary of his birth!

The California duo Young Ireland will be performing original Irish-American folk tunes in Brattleboro at theHooker Dunham Theater on Sunday July 28th at 7 pm. Some of the proceeds of this concert will benefit the Brattleboro Area Hospice.
The Dave Keller Band will appear as part of the Stowe gazebo concert series on Tuesday July 23rd at 7pm
The Vermont Celtic Band Gypsy Reel will perform at the bandstand in Granville, NY on Thursday July 25th at 7pm and at Jackson Gore at Okemo Mtn. In Ludlow on Friday July 26th from 6-9pm
The 21st JIG IN THE VALLEY to benefit all the GOOD WORK at the Fairfield Community Center - Sunday July 28th, noon to dusk, rain or shine on the Green in East Fairfield Vermont. Musical line up includes: John Cassel, Dale and Darcie, Fabian Rainville and friends, Ms. Carol Ann Jones, The Missisquoi River Band, Will Patton, Tyrone & The Oleo Romeos, Brian Curry, Phil Roleston, George Lewis, Joe Moore, and other special guests whose names have been withheld to avoid mass hysteria!
