Thursdays at 4:50 p.m. & Fridays at 7:55 a.m.

Kirk McCormick of Burlington reminded us that Radio Bean in downtown Burlington holds Jazz Night each Thursday evening, featuring Shane Hardiman and other local musicians taking the stage. Visit the calendar page for a list of bands.

Therese Linehan of Strafford suggested the "Gallery in the Garden" fund-raiser for the Justin Morrill Homestead in Strafford.

Attendees can bid on several 4x4 paintings created by local and national artists. The works are on display through July 21st with the silent auction on Friday, July 5th at 5:30 p.m.  For a preview of the works, visit here.

Tita Manice of Bridgewater urged listeners to attend next weekend's shows at the Little Theater in Woodstock, with local musician Jack Snyder headlining.

Below is a video of Jack Snyder and Friends performing at his first concert last year in Woodstock:

The concerts are Friday and Saturday, July 12th and 13th and portions of the show's proceeds will benefit the Woodstock Union High School jazz/funk band.
