Thursday on Vermont Edition, we hear the reactions of Vermonters, who have been at the center of the debate since the state's own court case over marriage rights in 1997.
We hear how Vermont's state law will now allow with federal law around Social Security benefits, legal rights, immigration status and tax benefits. And we hear the personal reactions of Vermont couples to the ruling. Our guests are attorney Eileen Blackwood, and Greg Trulson and Willie Docto, a Waterbury couple who've been advocates for Vermont's same-sex marriage law.
