We celebrate Father's Day with waltzes, funny songs, loving dedications and more, and also preview the marvelously eclectic 27th annual Green River Festival coming up in Greenfield, MA this weekend!

Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars will perform at Higher Ground in S. Burlington on Friday June 21st and at the Haybarn Theater in Plainfield on Saturday June 22nd

The Chandler Travis Philharmonic will perform at Putnam Den in Saratoga Springs, NY on Friday June 21st.

Bill Sims and Mark Lavoie will perform on Thursday, June 20 at 5:45 pm at Fresh Tracks Farm in Berlin; on Friday, June 21, 6:00 pm at Lincoln Peak Vineyard in New Haven; on Saturday, June 22 at 6:00 pm at Shelburne Vineyard; and on Sunday, June 23 at 2:00 pm at Snow Farm Vineyard in South Hero..

Sam Amidon is doing a concert at Next Stage in Putney on Tuesday June 18th as part of his album release tour for his new CD “Bright Sunny South”.

There will be a contradance on Thursday June 20th  at Pierce Hall, 38 Main St, Rochester (VT) from 7:30-10pm on Thursday June 20th  musicians include Aaron Marcus and Oliver Scanlon.

There will be a book release party at Phoenix Books in Burlington to celebrate a new biography about Vermont musician, Rick Norcross on Thursday June 20th at 7pm.  The party will include some live music  by Rick .

Mayfly (Katie Trautz and Julia Wayne) will perform at Bread and Butter Farm in Shelburne on Friday  June 21st as part of the farm’s weekly “burger night”

Archie Fisher will be giving a rare local performance on Thursday June 27th at the Whallonsburg NY grange hall….

The 27th annual Green River festival will be held in Greenfield MA on June 20th and 21st.  Featured artists include Gogol Bordello, Buddy Miller, Bombino, Caravan of Thieves, Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole, Miss Tess & the Talkbacks, and many more!

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
