Art Hounds: Surprise Ending

This week on Art Hounds, visual artist Leslie Fry of Burlington suggested Joan Watson's ceramic installation with a surprise ending.

Assemble/Disassemble/Reappear will be on display at the UVM Living/Learning Center Gallery with a reception on Thursday, February 7th at 5 p.m.

At the reception, attendees will get to take part in the pottery pieces' afterlife.

Throughout the month, AmyFortier's mosaic-inspired paintings (shown) will hang at the Ledyard Gallery in the Howe Library in Hanover, New Hampshire, with a reception on Saturday, February 2nd from 1 to 3.

Woodstock resident Liliana Paradiso called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to recommend the Shaker Bridge Theater in Hartland, which is now staging the David Mamet play, Speed The Plow, through the weekend.

Storyteller Annie Hawkins of Grafton called to urge VPR listeners to take part in an event at the Pomfret Library which gets its inspiration from the popular public radio program, The Moth Radio Hour.

Amateur storytellers are asked to tell a true tale in five minutes on the theme of The Heart, on Thursday, February 7th at 6:30 p.m.
