Vermont is home to several thousand undocumented farmworkers who support the state’s dairy industry. The last year has been a time of increasing tension for these migrant worker, as an immigration crackdown continued and their leaders were allegedly targeted for arrest and deportation. Reporter John Dillon explored these issues throughout the year, and his stories form a portrait of Vermont life rarely seen, or heard, by many in the state.
