A Vermont couple is selling their Lowell farm to the state's largest electric utility for $1.3 million.

A plan by a developer to build the state’s first privately run rest area off Interstate 89 in Randolph is under scrutiny from both state regulators and environmentalists.

Members of the Vermont League of Cities have concerns about how the plan will be paid for and how the state can permit municipal roads.

Part of Interstate 91 in Vermont is open again after authorities closed it over the weekend, saying a bridge being removed was leaning.

A graduate of NYU with a Master's Degree in journalism, Mitch has more than 20 years experience in radio news. He got his start as news director at NYU's college station, and moved on to a news director (and part-time DJ position) for commercial radio station WMVY on Martha's Vineyard.
