A top health care aide to Governor Peter Shumlin says Vermont lawmakers may be demanding too much information too fast from her office. Voters in Brattleboro will weigh in on the town’s budget later this month. The budget was approved at Brattleboro’s Representative Town meeting in late March. Flooding forced the Town Clerk's Office in Morristown to close yesterday, and the office is likely to remain closed for much of the week. The Vermont Community Foundation says local organizations have received over 100 grants totaling almost $200,000 in 2013.
