Dozens of state highway projects could be delayed or canceled this summer unless Congress acts to replenish the Federal Highway Trust Fund in the next few months. Governor Shumlin is urging management and CCTA drivers to end the strike. A new Vermont law makes it easier for small power producers to sell any excess electricity they produce. Lawmakers and the Shumlin Administration seem to be at odds over how soon to implement a minimum wage of $10.10 per hour.

He began his public radio career in 2007 at WHQR-FM in Wilmington, North Carolina where he served as Morning Edition host and reporter, covering county government and Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base. His work has won several Associated Press awards and has appeared on NPR's All Things Considered, Weekend Edition, and PRI's This American Life.
