Police are urging drivers to proceed with caution as many local roads are slippery from freezing rain overnight. Leaders from the Vermont Legislature and an organization that represents the interests of older Vermonters are going to be talking about a plan to give consumers and small businesses more influence in utility regulation cases heard by the Public Service Board. The Vermont Public Service Department is planning an update of the state’s telecommunications plan. Vermont has recovered over $8 million in civil penalties from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company following a 2005 lawsuit saying the company made unsubstantiated advertising claims.

Prior to VPR, Neal was a programmer and host for WNCS in Montpelier and WDEV in Waterbury. He holds a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
