Vermont’s congressional delegation is reacting to the news of the death of former South African president Nelson Mandela. As the website for Health Connect, Vermont’s new health insurance marketplace, becomes easier to navigate, employers and employees are finally getting a closer look at the way new policies will affect their pocketbooks. For some, workplace insurance makes financial sense, but for others, it doesn’t. One business had to decide whether to join the exchange, or stay out of it. The Shumlin administration is asking the legislature to reconsider a request to make it easier to give involuntary treatments to mentally ill patients.
