The state is accepting a final round of applications for FEMA funding to pay for a variety of projects related to TS Irene. Vermont's unemployment rate rose last month one tenth of one percent to 4.1 percent. It's been exactly ten years since former Governor Howard Dean officially launched his bid to win the Democratic Presidential nomination. VPR's Bob Kinzel had a chance to talk with Dean this week about the experience.
